You booked your wedding DJ—now comes the fun part! This guide walks you through your online planner, music requests, final meeting and payments. You do not need to have everything figured out today. Start with what you know, and we will work through the details together.
Getting started
How do I access my online wedding planner?
Visit the homepage and select Client Event Planner Login, or use the link above. Sign in with the unique username and password provided in your booking email. From your event’s front page, select Plan my event to open your planner.
Your planner is where you can build your timeline, request music, organize your wedding party entrance and share the details that will help me make the celebration yours.
What if I cannot find my login details?
Check your booking email first. If you still need help, contact me using the email address or phone number in that message.
Do I need to complete everything right away?
Start with what you know and build from there. If you are unsure about a timeline entry’s timing, leave the time blank. We will review the details together before your wedding. Your booking email includes the date your planner locks, so use that as your deadline for entering your information.
Your wedding timeline and details
How do I build my timeline?
Add the events you want in the order you would like them to happen. Do not worry if you are unsure how long each moment will take—I will help refine the timing as your wedding approaches.
For moments with a specific song, such as your first dance, add the song title and artist in the comments for that timeline entry. That helps me connect your music choices to the right moments.
What belongs in Wedding Activities?
This section covers details such as your guest count, who will give a toast or blessing, and whether you want activities such as a bouquet or garter toss. Complete the questions that apply to your celebration. If I am not providing your ceremony service, you can leave the ceremony questions blank.
How do I organize our wedding party entrance?
Use the Wedding Party Sheet to list names in entrance order. Include phonetic spellings for any names that could be difficult to pronounce. For example, you might write “Cyganovich” as “Sig-an-o-vich.” A little guidance here helps everyone receive a confident, personal introduction.
Music and guest requests
Can we create a Spotify playlist for cocktail hour or dinner?
You and your guests are welcome to create a Spotify playlist for cocktail hour, dinner or both. Share the playlist link with me during planning, and I will play the selections in your chosen order to preserve the flow you designed.
Can we choose our music and create a do-not-play list?
Absolutely. Add songs for special moments, dance-floor favorites and anything you do not want played. Your selections help me understand your style and the experience you want for your guests.
Think about the full range of people celebrating with you. A mix of familiar favorites across generations can help more guests feel included. Line dances are worth considering, too—they can help guests who feel more comfortable joining a group dance. Share your preferences so we can plan an evening that feels right for you.
Will you play a fixed playlist?
I am a mixing DJ. I blend music and respond to the crowd throughout the celebration. Some songs get a longer moment; others are mixed more quickly to keep the energy moving. Your requests and do-not-play list help guide that approach.
Can our guests request music before the wedding?
Yes! In your planner’s music section, you will find a link you can share with guests. They will need your event date and the special guest password included in your booking email. Each guest can submit up to five requests.
You can review the submitted requests in your planner and remove any you do not want. Share the guest request details rather than your personal planner username and password.
Meetings and final preparations
How do we communicate during planning?
You can email or text me with questions as you work through the planner. You do not need to wait until our final meeting to ask for help.
When is our final planning meeting?
We will have a telephone meeting on the Monday before your event. Please set aside approximately one hour within the 7–9 p.m. window described in your booking email.
We will go through the timeline, music, activities, names and other details together so I can arrive focused on your wedding.
Why does the planner lock before the wedding?
Your planner locks on the date listed in your booking email. This prevents last-minute changes from being entered without me knowing about them. If something changes after that date, contact me directly so we can discuss it together.
Payments
When is the final balance due?
Your final balance is due at least two weeks before your wedding date. Your individual balance is provided in your booking correspondence.
Can we make payments along the way?
Yes. You can make payments at any interval before the final deadline. Please let me know when you would like to make a payment.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, check or credit card. For credit card payments, I will send a Square invoice. Credit card payments carry the 4% processing fee described in your booking email.
Still have a question?
Email, call or text me using the contact details in your booking email. I am here to help you work through the details—and I want you to enjoy the process. Have fun with it!
